As our #FoodforyourSkin recipe series continues, we’re following on from the Smoothie Bowl recipe with a Morning Booster Smoothie because let’s face it, everyone loves a creamy chocolatey smoothie. So, read on to discover this delicious recipe that will have you ready to face your day.
This recipe has been created with the Sandalwood range in mind by the wonderful Lissy from lissy_cooks_food. So, Lissy has drawn on everyone’s favourite brunch ingredient: the Avocado. We use avocado’s in our Sandalwood range for their nourishing and deeply conditioning effect. Avoado’s are high in potassium and loaded with fibre. Next time you reach for an avocado with the classic avocado on toast in mind, give this smoothie recipe a go instead! Morning booster smoothie
- 1/2 a ripe avocado
- 300ml your favourite dairy-free milk
- 1tsp cacao
- 1/2tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp agave
- 1tsp creamed coconut
- A pinch of salt
- Add all the ingredients to a smoothie maker or blender and blend thoroughly
- Then, poor into a glass and enjoy
